Exploring Faith – Irrational Fairy Tales or Something Else?

The Queen of Lewis Carroll’s’ Alice in Wonderland’ claimed to believe six impossible things before breakfast!  Is this what faith is? Belief in irrational fairy tales…or might faith’s public image be somewhat unjustified? Could faith be rational, coherent and credible? Could it point to realities often neglected yet profoundly important to our humanity?

We would love you to join us as we respectfully explore what various beliefs, including secularism and Christianity, say about faith. Our aim is to consider which is most likely to be true? Which is most coherent, consistent, most liveable? In a time of seismic global uncertainty, what we believe, is shaping our lives, securities, hopes and futures for better or worse. Can faith provide any resources in this storm?

During the service the All Saints Club will be running groups for children and young people aged 0 – 16 years. Children begin with their parents/carers in the main service. Please stay for coffee and chat after the Explore service.
