I tell you the truth\, they have received their reward in full. \n\n6:6 But when you pray\, go into your room\, close the door and pray to your Father\, who is unseen. Then your Father\, who sees what is done in secret\, will reward you. \n6:7 And when you pray\, do not keep on babbling like pagans\, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. \n6:8 Do not be like them\, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. \n6:9 "This\, then\, is how you should pray: " 'Our Father in heaven\, hallowed be your name\, \n6:10 your kingdom come\, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. \n\n6:11 Give us today our daily bread. \n6:12 Forgive us our debts\, as we also have forgiven our debtors. \n6:13 And lead us not into temptation\, but deliver us from the evil one. SUMMARY:Haggai #3: How to Catch Perfection
DESCRIPTION:06:00 pm Sunday@6\nTheme:Haggai #3: How to Catch Perfection \nPassage: Haggai 2:10-19\nHaggai 2:1-9\n\n\n\n\nBible Quote\n\n\n2:10 On the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month\, in the second year of Darius\, the word of the Lord came to the prophet Haggai: \n\n2:11 "This is what the Lord Almighty says: 'Ask the priests what the law says: \n2:12 If a person carries consecrated meat in the fold of his garment\, and that fold touches some bread or stew\, some wine\, oil or other food\, does it become consecrated?' " The priests answered\, "No." \n2:13 Then Haggai said\, "If a person defiled by contact with a dead body touches one of these things\, does it become defiled?" "Yes\," the priests replied\, "it becomes defiled." \n2:14 Then Haggai said\, " 'So it is with this people and this nation in my sight\,' declares the Lord . 'Whatever they do and whatever they offer there is defiled. \n2:15 " 'Now give careful thought to this from this day on -consider how things were before one stone was laid on another in the Lord 's temple. \n\n2:16 When anyone came to a heap of twenty measures\, there were only ten. When anyone went to a wine vat to draw fifty measures\, there were only twenty. \n2:17 I struck all the work of your hands with blight\, mildew and hail\, yet you did not turn to me\,' declares the Lord . \n2:18 'From this day on\, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month\, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the Lord 's temple was laid. Give careful thought: \n2:19 Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now\, the vine and the fig tree\, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. " 'From this day on I will bless you.' " \n\n\n\n
