DESCRIPTION:HARVEST THANKSGIVING SUNDAY 8TH OCTOBER 2023 \nWe invite you to join us for our harvest thanksgiving service and lunch. \nAll Age Harvest Thanksgiving Service (Fordham Church) 10.00am \nThis is an annual time to thank God for the good things that he gives us in our lives and his world. \nPreacher: Aella Gage\, Leader: Francis Blight \nOnline Church: Watch\n                (This will be available from 10:00am on Sunday) \n                \n                \n                Online Church\n                \n                 \nHarvest Collection for the Colchester Food Bank \nYou are invited to give thanks to God by bringing food items and toiletries to the service\, for the Colchester Food Bank. Here is the list of eligible items\, taken from the foodbank website: \nSmall bags of rice\, long-life milk\, long-life juice\, shampoo\, carrier bags/reusable bags\, squash\, tinned fruit\, deodorants\, tinned potatoes\, tinned puddings\, tins/packets of custard\, jam\, peanut butter\, toothbrush/toothpaste\, razors\, shower gel\, small jars of coffee\, small washing powder/liquid\, small multipack snacks (penguin/club/twix) tinned tomatoes. \nhttps://colchester.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-food/  \nBring and Share Harvest Thanksgiving Lunch (John Owen Barn) 12 noon. \nAs part of the celebration\, you are invited to bring a contribution of food that will be added to a harvest buffet to be shared with the rest of the church family. Please bring food contributions on the day to the John Owen Barn between 9:40-9:55am. Ruth Wheeler is organizing the lunch and will be cooking jacket potatoes. Topping would be appreciated (grated cheese\, baked beans\, vegetable chili\, meat chili \,tuna mayo or other). Salads\, drinks and puddings are also welcome. In order to help people with allergies we ask that shop bought items are brought in their original packaging and that an ingredients list is provided for homemade items. \nWe look forward to seeing you.\n
